The Collector Pyramid: Find the Right Buyers for Your Art
Sergio Gomez is a Mexican-American visual artist, curator, and arts educator whose work explores the cycles of life through large-scale figurative abstraction and charcoal drawing. Based in South Florida, his paintings and drawings create contemplative spaces where the spiritual intersects with the human experience, inviting viewers into reflection, renewal, and deeper awareness.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Gomez earned his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Northern Illinois University. His work has been featured in more than 45 solo exhibitions and over 150 group exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally. His artwork is held in public collections, including the National Museum of Mexican Art and the Brauer Museum, as well as numerous private collections.
In addition to his studio practice, Gomez has curated more than 100 exhibitions worldwide and is the founder and director of 33 Contemporary Gallery. A dedicated educator and advocate for artists, he co-founded Art NXT Level®, where he mentors artists in building sustainable careers. He is also the co-author (with Dr. Yanina Gomez) of Crush Self-Sabotage and Live Fully! The Artist's Wellness Journey to Confidence and Success and host of the long-running Art NXT Level podcast.
Whether creating art, curating exhibitions, or mentoring artists, Gomez is committed to fostering meaningful connections between art, personal transformation, and community.
